Experience a 2 Days 1 Night adventure in Tanjung Puting National Park by exploring the beautiful Sekonyer River aboard a traditional klotok boat. Discover the rich mangrove forests, nipa palms, and diverse wildlife while visiting the famous orangutan rehabilitation camps at Tanjung Harapan, Pondok Tanggui, and Camp Leakey. This tour offers the opportunity to witness orangutan feeding sessions, enjoy rainforest trekking, and spend unforgettable moments in the heart of Borneo.
Itinerary
Day 1: Pangkalan Bun Airport – Kumai – Tanjung Puting
Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport, we will pick you up and transfer you to Kumai Town by airport taxi, approximately 25 minutes.
Upon arrival in Kumai Town, board the boat and cruise along the Sekonyer River, exploring the beautiful mangrove forests, nipa forests, and wildlife.
While lunch is prepared on the boat, continue to Tanjung Harapan Camp (First Camp). Trek approximately 1 km to the feeding site for the 3:00 PM orangutan feeding session.
In the late afternoon, return to the boat for a free program.

Day 2: Pondok Tanggui Camp – Camp Leakey – Hotel
After breakfast, continue exploring the river by boat and visit Pondok Tanggui Camp to witness the orangutan feeding session at approximately 9:00 AM.
After seeing the orangutans, proceed to Camp Leakey, which takes approximately 2 hours by klotok.
After lunch, you will have the chance to take a short trekking before witnessing the orangutan feeding session at approximately 2:00 PM.
After visiting Camp Leakey, our boat will slowly cruise back to Kumai, followed by a transfer to your hotel in Pangkalan Bun.
